Advanced booking with a member of the Nursing Team/Health Care Assistants - up to 5 weeks - both morning and afternoon appointments are available.  In a number of cases, it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor.  Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions, and you may be seen more quickly.  Additionally, appointments with our nurses and health care assistants can be booked in advance for;

Vaccinations and immunisation

 - Whooping Cough

 - B12

 - Shingles

 - Pneumonia

 - Teenage immunisations

 - Flu

 - Contraception Reviews

Cervical Screening

Cervical screening will commence at the age of 25.  Women will be recalled for screening every 5 years between the ages of 25 to 49.  If you are under the age of 25 and have had an invite letter from Cervical Screening Wales, please bring this letter with you to your appointment.  If you have misplaced your letter, please contact Cervical Screening Wales on 02920 787910 for a copy.
